Description
The taste of fresh hot peppers is similar to that of classic bell peppers, but with a slightly higher level of spiciness, varying from sweet-mild to tangy-spicy to fiery-hot depending on the type. The biochemical substance capsaicin is responsible for the spiciness. Nonetheless, hot peppers are significantly milder than chilli peppers.
